SmartPump technology for the food & beverage industry

SmartPump is ideal for the food processing industry. SmartPump Chamber Pumps consist of a tube-like membrane which when compressed, pushes down on the liquid creating the pumping motion. Thanks to this ingenious solution, Chamber Pumps can pump almost any known liquid with any amount or size of solids. With gentle squeezing of the membrane, products with or without solids can be pumped without shear, air binding or pulsation. 

The food safety is extreme, there are no wearing, potentially failing, dirt introducing rotating or sliding components such as gears, pistons, lobes, rotors, etc. in contact with food product. The product is only in contact with FDA approved membranes and inlet/outlet valves. The uniqueness of not having moving, sliding, relating components in contact with product pumped, makes the Smart Pump extremely reliable with minimal maintenance needs. High accurate flow rate is not affected by wear thus remaining constant at all times.

Product with solids up to 100 mm can be pumped without breaking as well as products with small solids such as small seeds can be pumped without fear of grinding action. Adjustable suction is gentle causing no shear or separation.

All instruments, control valves, dampeners can be eliminated from product line resulting to substantial saving and reduction in product line maintenance down time and cleaning time. 

Smart Pump is self-priming, can be run dry or to pump air and/or big to clean outlet line when product tank is empty to reduce waste and down time. When not pumping, Smart Pump holds line pressure and pumping can be started slowly to prevent pressure peaks.

With total automation and PLC control, with data logging of all process information such as flow rate, pressure on inlet and outlet, product temperatures, volumes run since re-sets and optionally added information of tank levels, mixing motor status, rpm, Smart Pump is optimal for total process control and digital manufacturing.

Multiple Smart Pumps can be monitored and controlled from single local touch screen, from remote location. Operator can receive on their cell phones soft alarms of selected process parameters, tank, batch status etc.
