Chamber Pumps

SmartPump Chamber Pumps consist of a tube like membrane which when compressed, pushes down on the liquid creating the pumping motion. Thanks to this ingenious solution, Chamber Pumps can pump almost any known liquid with any amount or size solid.

Video

With the slow closing of the membrane, the SmartPump creates a smooth flow regardless of liquid type and solid content.

With the ball valve or pinch valve configuration, the Chamber Pump is able to dispense liquids with very high content of solids such as cellulose, nuts, cottage cheese, insects, etc.

Product Families

Micro flow pump family

  • Flow rates as low as 1ml/min and even smaller
  • Pressures up to 138Bar+
  • Turndown ratio up to 1:100

Standard flow pump family

  • Flow rates up to 2,5m3/hr+
  • Turndown ratio 1:100
  • Pressures exceeding 138Bar+

 High flow pump family

  • Flow rates up to 55m3/hr+
  • Turndown ratio 1:100
  • Pressures exceeding 10Bar+

SmartPump Chamber Pump features

SmartPump Chamber Pumps consist of a tube like membrane which when compressed, pushes down on the liquid creating the pumping motion. Thanks to this ingenious solution, Chamber Pumps can pump almost any known liquid with any amount or size solid.  The PLC system has excess I/O to allow other monitoring instruments or control devices, valves, motors to be integrated into the controls, local and or remote.

Due to full automation, and total control of flow at all times, no additional instruments or control valves are required on the product line reducing costs and maintenance needs. Product flow can be started slowly to eliminate pressure peaks and stopped slowly.

Positive Displacement operating principle with total automation, PLC control and data logging, provides quality assurance information regarding pump status, lines status, etc. Smart Pump can be operated and monitored from local operator screen or remotely or via cell phone or tablet for total digital manufacturing. Several Smart Pumps can be controlled and operated from one central control cabinet or remote location.

General specifications:

-Shear sensitive products, abrasive, corrosive products with or without solids at flow accuracy better than +/-2%.

-Flow rates from 0.001l/min up to 55m3/h or more with turn down ratio of 100 to 1

-Maximum pressure 138Bar+, suction 0.6 Bar depending on flow rate range

-Viscosity +500,000cp with temperature range from -30C to 200C
