SmartPump - Dual Piston Pump

The  SmartPump - Dual Piston consists of two PLC controlled high precision actuators driving two hydraulic cylinders. The PLC controlled system moves each piston outward and inward sequentially creating a smooth positive displacement flow. As one cylinder is dispensing the other is re-filling. Spring loaded check valves are used on inlets and outlets to allow for dirty liquids to be pumped with minimal issues with wear and pulsation. For liquids with large solids ball valves or pinch valves are used on pump inlets and outlets

The PLC system has excess I/O to allow other monitoring instruments or control devices, valves, motors to be integrated into the controls, local and or remote. 

Due to full automation, and total control of flow at all times, no additional instruments or control valves are required on the product line reducing costs and maintenance needs. Product flow can be started slowly to eliminate pressure peaks and stopped slowly. 

With the Positive Displacement operating principle with total automation, the PLC control and data logging, provides quality assurance information regarding pump status, lines status, etc. Smart Pump can be operated and monitored from local operator screen or remotely or via cell phone or tablet for total digital manufacturing. Several Smart Pumps can be controlled and operated from one central control cabinet or remote location.

-Shear sensitive products, corrosive products with or without solids at flow accuracy better than +/-2%. 

-Flow rates from 0.001l/min up to 55m3/h with turn down ratio of 100 to 1

-Maximum pressure 138bar, suction 0.6 bar depending on flow rate range

-Viscosity 500,000 cp with temperature range from -30C to 200C
